On June 19, 2025, we had the great pleasure of visiting Alfred Darda's studio in Altusried in the Allgäu region. His lovingly designed studio in an old farmhouse is surrounded by green hills - a true oasis of art and creativity.
Under the motto “Holistic creativity with all the senses”, Darda introduces the world of monotype, frottage, various printing techniques and other forms of expression for creative work.
Particularly exciting: his “integral painting” - an approach to art that combines head, heart and intuition.
Intensive discussions focused on questions such as: What is truth? What is reality? And why there is actually no such thing as abstract painting. Darda is convinced that nothing can be invented anymore - only found
